I woke up this morning and had no time for breakfast. Instead, I opted for the V8. That seems to help stave off the hunger. At least for a little while. I grabbed an early lunch at Saltgrass with clients. Salmon, Sweet potato, and a salad. After that I had a 20 ounce Smoothie from Smoothie King. Oh, and a Venti Soy Chai Tea Latte with two extra shots of espresso.
This was an easy run. My legs felt great and the weather was cool. A cold front came through earlier that day so my evening run was VERY comfortable. I ran the usual loop route which seemed to go by very quickly. I felt like I could have given it a lot more pace but I kept it back to about 7:45 or 8:00.
Progress. I feel like I am making progress on my run. The legs are getting stronger but the real difference is in the lungs. I feel like I am getting more gas in the tank the slower I run. I am actually looking forward to Saturday's long run. I will only be 90 minutes but it should be good.
