Today I woke up to a cold snap in the weather which delayed my run. I didn't have any interest in running in the cold, so I waited until about 8:00am when the heat began to creep out from under the shade.
Since I delayed my start, the distance also changed. I still wanted to run that hill that had been calling my name so I carved up the original plan and ended up with about 5 miles of rolling hills.
The run felt good and I had a lot of life left in my legs when I finished up. I could have easily ran another 5 miles... maybe I'll save that until next Saturday.
"Jogging is very beneficial. It's good for your legs and your feet. It's also very good for the ground. It makes it feel needed."
