This week I spent more time thinking about running than actually pounding the pavement. The race on Saturday took more out of me than I originally thought and my run on Monday reflected the fatigue. So, rest days on Tues through Thurs was a good idea because my Saturday run was back to normal.
Overall, it was a good week to take a look at my current running goals and to make sure I am committing to my training for the right reasons.
