Running with Snakes

I saw a copperhead snake on the trail today. I didn't freak out or turn around and run the other way. Nope. Too brave for that. Instead, I swerved to avoid the massive reptile and started alerting my fellow runners on the trail that if they didn't want a care flight to the hospital they should steer clear of that venomous monster up ahead.

Tragedy averted... until next time.

Glad you're okay! I've been seeing alot of snakes along the side of the raod on my bike rides. I think one was a copperhead! Luckily most of them are already dead from cars. I did see one live one that scared the crap out of me. It was black and small, tho, so probably harmless.

Be careful out there...Saw this article last week:

There are lots of venomous snakes that can be found in US and copperhead snakes are one of these snakes. It is nice to know that nobody was bitten from this venomous snake.

  Sunday run in the rain.
